How Do You Train SD in Your Art?

This question is for those that don't train in RBSD (Reality Based Self-Defense) systems.
If you come from more of a traditional art or even a sport-centered art, how do you train for more self-defense applications. Now I know that most arts have self-defense incorporated into them, but that doesn't mean it is a self-defense system.
What I mean to ask is what type of training (if any) do you do to enhance your art's self-defense aspect?
