I'm a JFJKD loyalist - preserve Lee's original process of discovering the cause of one's own ignorance (so as to allow one to return to their own original freedom of expression - as a martial artist, as a human being). Preserve that, so that succesive generations will have access to it. At the same time you continue to refine your technique to ever greater efficiency. That out of the way somewhat (for it is a never end process ofrefinement), I say incorporate grappling into your own expression of JFJKD.

But honor both your hard work and that of JKD's founder, by ever striving to distinguish between the two in your communication of it to others - thereby honoring their individuality as well...
